Anonymous wrote:OP, how is your weight? Liver enzymes could be elevated by alcohol as you note. You said you are a healthy eater, does that mean you steer clear of processed foods and fried foods? Eating a low fat diet/losing weight can also help in the event of fatty liver disease.

The elevated enzymes may have nothing to do with OP having 2 drinks a day, and that is the whole point of their answers. Some people have alcohol occasionally, and some don't, but somehow they all ended up with abnormal tests. Read the thread carefully, and read about the health issue discussed, if you need to. To me, all responses seem relevant. Somebody said that black coffee helps with liver enzymes, so I asked if they know if decaf works the same, and you are telling me to go and open a new thread. Sigh.

Anonymous wrote:PP, who told me not to have 2 drinks a day, that's really funny because I am a tea-totaller. Also, no supplements or statins. Except like I said Tazo chamomile - I guess that would be a supplement. It was I think OP who was guilty of 2 drinks a day.
PP, no, it is not easily fixed and in fact non-alcoholic fatty liver is often irreversible.
I mean THIS is not me.

No one can tell wtf is posting now, because posters aren’t identifying whether they are the OP or someone new in each post. Identify yourself each time you post or you’ll get replies for the OP.
