Improvement? Hardly. The fiasco in January calling for National Guard to drive kids to school? 2100+ staff out sick, 21 schools shut down for two weeks, 9%+ of the student body infected? Using federal covid money for $1M on bocce ball, $2M on discrimination training, $2M on Kid Museum? Holding kids at Magruder while the parents wait outside, showing up late because she doesn't live in the County so needed a police escort through traffic, but had the fashion sense to wear a pink outfit for the shooting? Going on a recruiting junket to pick up two personal awards at her alma mater when last year MCEA indicated 500 teachers wanted to retire or leave and this year was over 900?
If that's your idea of "improvement", that's pretty twisted.
MCPS Administrator Mentality - if we say everything is great a billion times then people will ignore the facts and believe the propaganda.
In reality, all the MCPS propaganda demonstrates a lack of credibility. Teachers and parents no longer have faith in MCPS leadership and the Board of Ed. The only voice we have is to vote for new Board Members on the platform for change and real improvements such as smaller class sizes.

Her superintendent appointment was effective 8 days ago. No matter who gets elected to the board, they're not going to "get in a new superintendent" for at least four years.
A lot of the DCUM cranks post this knowing full well it's ridiculous. Clearly, they're a disturbed lot and find solace in sharing their misery.
What stops New board from finding a replacement on day one? Is there any restriction?
There's a contract they'd have to buy out.

Agree. amazing job dragging down the MSPS standards. Teachers have no confidence. Students have no confidence nor do parents.
