There's been zero evidence presented that suggests this is the case. What has been said is the teacher knows their stuff and has high expectations of their students. Some posters are unhappy with the teacher's grading, but it falls within their purview. They're also demanding and apparently do a great job preparing their students for the AP exam. The horrors!

This teacher is holding the school hostage because it is so difficult to find someone at the HS level who can teach the higher level math.
