Texas woman here - I'm going on my third IUD after bearing 4 children years ago. It's the best thing to happen in my reproductive life. After Friday's news, I booked my appointment for #3 while I'm still legally able to. I'm encouraging my 18 year old daughter to get one as well in case she gets raped on campus (two cases at her school just this week!).

If you have an IUD inserted while living in Maryland, then go to college in, say, Louisiana where say hypothetically they have made use of IUDs illegal—. Is it illegal for you to just walk around with the iud inside you? Or is that a criminal act?
