I am part of a Miami Merger and have two kids there and never have I ever called it Miami University. Always Miami of Ohio.

I don't know why top PP, added it to the list. Colleges with ambiguous location names, are difficult but not really humorous (add Wash U and Washington College). Insisting on calling it University of Miami, is funny. Calling it Miami of Ohio, is just full disclosure and a conversation starter if need be.
