Truly, Madly, Deeply

I think a few people saw it when it came out, but for some reason it's impossible to find anywhere so it's been forgotten. It's so, so good. I laughed and cried buckets.

I feel pretty (Amy schumer), Clifford with Martin short, heartbreakers with Jennifer love Hewitt, sigourney weaver and ray liotta, friends with kids (Jennifer westfeldt and Adam Scott), and get over it (ben foster) are some fairly obscure movies I’ve loved.

Many of the movies listed were popular (some were box office hits) and classic blockbuster rentals for years to come. Maybe my age is showing since I saw many of the movies listed in the theater or on VHS.

Here’s a movie that nobody I’ve ever mentioned it to has seen:

Club Paradise.

It stars a young Robin Williams, Eugene Levy, Rick Moranis, Jimmy Cliff, etc.

It was released the same weekend as Weekend at Bernie’s which overshadowed it.

It’s a gem. And the soundtrack is fantastic.

To Live-- Chinese movie from 1994. The story spans decades and shows Chinese history through the impact on one family.

Win Win was so good. The Station Agent with Bobby Cannavale is also really good.

I’ll add Strange Brew and Escanaba in da Moonlight. Also Drop Dead Gorgeous with Kirsten Dunst. I can’t find that one anywhere for streaming. It’s almost worth getting a DVD player just so I can watch it on dvd like it’s 1999 again.

I bought it on DVD and we play it in the car! It is not streaming anywhere. One reason may be that there's a mass shooting scene played for laughs in it. That is strange to watch.
