Screaming, pooping, drooling babies have absolutely no charm. Babies, for the most part, are a drain on society and they area major PITA
Sadly, they are a necessary evil.

I think once you hit 80 you are definitely elderly even if 'young'.
80 is never young. Even at 65 people have lost much of their intellectual capacity, particularly in their ability to learn new things and adjust to new situations. Everything slows down for them physically and mentally.
And because they're losing their ability to reason, they don't always realize when they've become a useless bum that is unable to feel or smell that it's time to change their Depends. It's disgusting to be around most people older than 70.
For many on this board who continue to spew their hatred and ageism, I can only hope that when they hit the apparently horribly old age of 65+ they realize how ridiculous they sounded when they were younger.
To imply that people over 65 are useless bums who have no capacity to learn new things is one of the most insulting and disgusting things I’ve ever read and no, I’m not in that age group myself.
We've all know it's true. No one ever wants to work with elderly coworkers. Walmart greeter is right around the typical limit of their capabilities.

Her strive for living well after retirement has even influenced my dad (74 and still working) to go out and do things every weekend. She had a hard life growing up and worked very laborious jobs throughout her life. However, she did not let that get her down and it almost feels like she had a rebirth at 60. I would not call her elderly.
