Yes, just say that you need to grab something from the car or you want to check out the pool or whatever. Super easy.

I'm curious if not pooping/farting in front of each other does help to retain some of the mystery that helps with desire in the long run. Any thoughts?

I'm sure it does but it sounds terribly impractical! Also not all farts are voluntary - I don't fart in front of my husband on purpose but I've accidentally done it a few times in the 14 years we've been together - I would marvel at anyone who'd managed not to! Or who had the wherewithal to NEVER use a hotel toilet in all your years together - what a feat!

OP: Update- I am back from the trip and it went amazingly well! So relieved. We had tons to talk about the whole time, and I DID take my make up off at night and was au natural and felt pretty good.

Also, I'm even more crazy about the guy now.

Yes it’s normal to worry about these things. You sounds just a bit anxious vs worried however. You are doing something new together so there is anticipation about unknowns!

That’s a lot of time together - perhaps longer than you’ve spent together, uninterrupted? Do you like similar music? Can you bring that NYT column with turn along the questions to ask each other that makes you fall in love? Or tell
