When you all find out the REAL reason for abortion wars I promise your views on this will change.
And you will find out soon. Buckle up. It's going to be a very emotional ride. One you may not be prepared for.
Please enlighten us as to the REAL reason. It really about religion and the definition of life. Please let me know if I’m wrong.

So if you’re pregnant, and you don’t want to be pregnant, and you can’t get a safe, legal abortion, you are going to reach for the coat hanger.
That was exactly me: it was NOT about the "fetus" or the "baby-to-be" or being a parent-- I could NOT STAND being PREGNANT. Imagine the disgust you feel when you saw those worms coming out of the mouth/eyes in that other thread? That's how I felt while being pregnant-- a giant worm/parasite growing in me. I would have killed myself without a chance to abortion.
Wow, that's a first.
It is very true for me. To the point that if we ever have an artificial uterus where I could "export" the product of conception and go my merry way, I would not see need for abortion anymore. For me, it is ALL about BODILY AUTONOMY, and the government not forcing me to GROW SOMETHING IN MY BODY against my will. The PREGNANCY is the problem, what it does to a woman body is the problem for me, and many other pro-choice women. And why "adoption" or "safe heaven laws" are no solution.
PP, I just want to say I hear you and I feel the same. I hated being pregnant, hated it. And that was with a wanted pregnancy. NO woman should be forced to continue a pregnancy ever. For any reason. Full stop. And it is nobody else's damn choice or business.
Me 3! I adore my kids and being a mother, and it is incredibly dehumanizing to force pregnancy on anyone for any reason.
