I know it's wasteful but so is pointlessly eating such a sugary fatty food. And honestly, most pints aren't even THAT good; they often have too much junk or taste cheap. It also seems they're frequently thawed and refrozen, which creates an unsmooth sort of icy texture. The only pint that is addicting to us is Jeni's goat cheese and red cherries.
Why are you buying $11 ice cream to just throw it away?

I am not super healthy and pretty unfit (but average weight) - I get one of those tiny single serving cups and only eat 1-2 small bites at a time when I think about it, which is maybe once every week or two weeks, so it lasts a month.
Most ice cream I just find too sweet and it hurts my teeth!

Goat cheese and cherry* ice creamand “we only eat a few bites and throw the rest away” is the most hilariously DCUM post I’ve ever seen in my life.
It's basically a 'sharp' cheesecake ice cream. It's fantastic.
