Spoken like a true liberal. The party of inclusion and tolerance, until you different views and beliefs. The irony of liberals never ceases to amaze me.
A “liberal” didn’t write that, dumba$$.

Never, unless you are running for president of PETA and he is instragraming steak dinners on your website it doesn't matter. If he is a Dem and wants you to quit your job in Defense or something then that's a control issue. Just tell him upfront ("I work in Defense", "If we have an oops baby at 45, I'm not getting an abortion", etc). If his not composting food, or using a plastic bottle is a dealbreaker for you, let him know asap. You are allowed to have your dealbreakers for what you need. It is unlikely it is a blanket "No libertarians".Anonymous wrote:Immediately? Later on?

+1. Idiots on both sides are brainwashed. Politicians and the media divide us by democrat vs Republican just like black vs white. I believe in good and bad people, not a little category someone claims to be. Politics are not what they used to be and I need to judge someone on more than what party they identify with. All politicians suck. Republicans suck and Democrats suck. The craziest thing is people who still vote acting like it will change a thing. Look at inner cities? They vote Democrat for decades and the Democrats do nothing for them after election is over. Republicans are the same. Stop letting the people in power divide us. When we unite, they will be the ones in power.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Depends what you mean by "screen for political views." I definitely make sure to reference things that matter to me but are also politicized early on in the dating process. For example -- I have trans, lesbian, gay, and otherwise queer friends and family members. I will intentionally mention them to ensure that I'm not on a date with someone who's not cool with that. Ditto my beliefs about systematic racism and sexism. These are things I talk about or are otherwise in my life. If I can't have a civil, considerate, and respectful conversation (or indeed vent) about them, I don't want to be dating someone and they probably don't want to be dating me to be honest.
You sound like a nightmare.

Thankfully by the same mechanism, super lefty ACAB and the like types were automatically excluded.
