Op here. This must be a friend group and budget related.
On my last few girl trips, I was the only one who had my own bed. Everyone else shared.

I would only do this if I were close to the woman, but if I'm on vacation with her that's a safe bet. We've even done 3 to a room and it was fine but 2 would be better.
The women on this site are just too precious.

How to women do it?
Are they more comfortable sharing?
Women either don't poop on trips (vacation constipation is real) or they go quickly and only spend a few minutes in the bathroom.
I can't figure out why men need to spend half the morning in the bathroom.

Sometimes we can’t all fit in one room so we few a few rooms but multiple women are in the same room. On a few occasions when I was sleep deprived with young children, I really wanted to just get my own room but decided to just stay with the friends because much of the trips is hanging out with friends getting ready and hanging out in the room.
When Dh travels, he always gets his own room. Sometimes other guys may crash in a friend’s room so 2 men in a 2 queen room but for the most part, everyone gets their own room.
Is this a female/male dynamic?
I wonder if it is financial. My husband makes a very high income as do most of his friends. My friends are a mix of working women and stay at home moms. HHI varies from friend to friend.
