Yes, but the problem is, everyone (and by that, I mean colleges, plus everyone on DCUM) knows that a GPA like that from a public school is meaningless after the last 2 years. And as proof, the SAT score is too low.
Yes, but there is nothing a kid can do about the fact that their school inflates grades. So what she needs to do is show academic curiosity by doing something outside of school, if she is actually worried.
