Seriously! Neither I nor my dh like his mom very much. But we are polite and make sure she is comfortable. When the kids were young and in car seats, she sat in the front seat bc it was most comfortable and she could turn around and see them. I sat in the third row. None of our car trips were very long (a ride to a restaurant) so it was hardly an issue. Now I still insist she ride in front bc she is older and it is easier for her. Mil has given me much aggravation over the years but I never thought about this an issue. If this is your only problem, you are fortunate.
