Overpriced degree. I went to a small private college but and made 1.4M last year as a 36yo. I guess I may not be as intelligent as you but I’m smart enough to have my family and kids set for life.
Do I deserve to make this money, heck no, the industry is lucrative (as are many other industry’s). Do I work very hard and have a load of stress and anxiety, you bet. All my friends in more prestigious “banking jobs” are envious of the time I’m able to devote to my family and would give their left arm to switch jobs. Glad you see it once sided.

We have a wealth management account at ML and pp did not prove the point to me. I would rather have a hard working, diligent wealth manager with a degree from a good small college than an arrogant entitled big talking Harvard grad. He clearly is committed to his family and will understand our desires to put the security and welfare of our family first.
Our ML advisor is a person of color and extremely respectful and hard working. Not an Ivy grad. We care much more about hard work, commitment to clients, character, communication skills, integrity and diligence.
We will be asking how ML responds officially to this deplorable manager.

As though all they’d have to do is shout at an American and they’d go running for a safe space to make a therapy appointment.
Well, the good thing is if you watch the actual video, those girls did not curl up under the counter and start crying. They stood their ground, told him to leave, and called the police. They were clearly not traumatized and are not precious little hothouse orchids. Good for them. Now let's hope they sue him.
Oh I mean I’m proud of them for being tough but I was watching her face off with him like Noooooo, girl! They need to have a locked room they can retreat to, go in there, and call the police. You never know when someone has a weapon and things can escalate quickly. It’s not worth it.

I feel bad for him because he’s just an asshole all the time, bubbling beneath the surface. A terrible thing happened to his kid and instead of focusing on that his brain was like, “yes! I’m finally ‘justified’ to vent my true self onto somebody.” So that’s what he did and he thought it would be “okay” because his kid was hurt. This was just a glimpse behind the curtain to what he’s like inside all the time.
I hope he apologizes and I think that should be okay, if he serves whatever the punishment is for the assault and apologizes then maybe he can get a job as an anger management counselor or something.

Even teen girls that work in shops are much more diligent when you tell them about allergies. Or you likely just don't order him smoothies at shops that routinely prepare them with contaminated equipment to begin with.

No, what's shameful is this man's attitude. I don't believe its Russian or Chinese culture to act in a completely disgraceful manner towards young women. He attacked them - physically and verbally - and threatened their safety. Its sad you're dismissing this and I have to wonder why.

That's not the point, of course we're not aspiring to be RUssia or China. Those girls weren't exactly cowering in fear--did you watch the video? They were just fine. Yes, throwing the drink at the girl was assault, but not exactly in the same category as jumping over the counter and punching her.

I'm doubling over in laugher (shame) for that remark. I'm quite a bit older than those girls, but had similar stuff happen to me back before anyone could record it. So basically the jerks got away with it. Now at least he got what's coming to him!

Supposedly he asked for the smoothie without peanut butter he didn’t say there’s an allergy so there can’t be peanuts on the machine or anything of that nature, so big difference sounds like it was his fault.
