Youngkin won’t be able to pass much of his agenda in the first two years and his general incompetence is already on display — a son who tried to commit voter fraud so obviously he doesn’t instill good values in his children; and the Republican legislation demanding Virgina schools teach about the debates between Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass just this week. There will be a series of these and attempted overreaches early that will turn voters against him quickly, especially if the virus situation worsens and he doesn’t deliver on his promises to slay the phantom menaces that were the straw man issues of his campaign. The backlash will be swift in two years.

Grew up in NOVA and gladly moved to MD when it came to buying our home and raising our children. Great schools, both private and public, diverse and open-minded population. Virginia has tried to leave the Confederate-loving, bumpkin identity behind, but it is obviously still there. But tell me more about those housing prices. Really, who would want to move into the Loudoun school district now?
