I’d casually ask him how they ended up following each other. I’ve had work colleagues ask for my IG info and shared it although I didn’t want to - just seemed awkward saying no. If the story seems believable, I’d let it go but keep an eye out.

I would find it inappropriate that he is following someone who works where he gets his hair cut.

It could very well be strictly platonic + professional however.

Fantasizing or desiring and being friendly in person is different from friending somebody on social media. I imagine the whole thing is benign (maybe she asked him to follow so she could boost her social media following) but to me soliciting and accepting follow requests means something. If he wants to look at pictures of pretty women, he doesn’t need to follow them and vice versa.
