Show us the independent studies (not from Pfizer) that say boosters are necessary for kids age 12. Not a single one out there.

I agree. And some are arguing that there could be a possibility that just boosting over and over with the same shot could make things worse. I’ll hold out until we get a more specific booster for the variant.

Because kids can still catch and transmit Covid even after being vaccinated.

Kids are low risk for Covid. Whether parents choose to vaccinate their kids vaccinated or not, will not make a big difference from a public health standpoint.

ZERO kids have died of Covid during this pandemic. Pushing a EUA shot on 7 year olds for no good reason is a terrible idea.

You are minimizing it. Kids bring home covid to their families. Siblings bring it to siblings so they spread it to different schools. Its a chain reaction. So, give it to parents, siblings, friends, relatives, community and elderly. So, saying it is less serious to kids is silly as if they have a parent or grandparent die because they brought it home, that could greatly damage their life and mental health. Kids aren't living alone. Its about our community.

Canceling activities at school after school was silly as they are in school all day. Sports should not be having games, just practices but this is MCPS.
