At one point during our meeting, the young Sekas son propped his feet up on the conference room table, presumably to show that he was large and in charge. It was utterly disrespectful. Right away we knew these were not people that we wanted to do business with.

Anonymous wrote:I bought a house from Sekas last year. I was living in a newer community (2018) built by NV before. I would say Sekas looks nicer and quality seems higher. We didn’t have bigger issues except general new construction settling and cosmetic problems so far. Nothing major.
However, our neighbor had worse problems than us.

Anonymous wrote:Cheap, builder grade materials. Nothing special about them. Basically a slightly nicer version of a Miller and Smith or Van Metre house. But still cheap and crappy builder grade crap.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I own a SEKAS home. It is amazing that they finish my home on time when dealing with such challenge from supply shortage.
I have a high standard and expensive taste towards interiors and they are easy to work with and allow me to add extra personal tastes to the design.
But most of all, they finish my house on time. I mean, they can finish the contstruction without any delay and within the interest rate lock range.

Sounds like mktlng

Add leaving trash around and rude staff. Building houses fast and fostering tension with neighbors.
Called them to complain about loud music and they didn’t bother to call or acknowledge.
If it’s before 7am or after 10pm, you can try non emergency line
Fairfax county site to share issues for construction and more in this site. https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/fido/complaints/comp_submit_m.aspx[/quote
Does this result in anything?]

many in our community have complained about them in the neighborhood. don't expect friendly neighbors as they disregard neighbors in the built process. e.g on top of construction noise, expect very loud music to be played by them...like you are in a block party.
Neighbors called to complain about loud mu. No one returned calls.
Did anyone think of walking over and politely asking them to turn it down? That’s what we did. They turned the music down.
Opinion- seek help from with Sekas mgmt or Fairfax county.
Called Sekas left vm nothing.
