DP. Out of curiosity I looked at my Nova kid naviance. There are tons of students from his school admitted with SAT of less than 1500. The lowest was 1170.

You can’t decline. You’re conscripted to attend UVA because UVA really, really cares about your best interests. It has nothing to do with the fact that all ED optional schools do it for one reason only; to increase their yield so better students won’t be able to attend better colleges. Just saying the score is not everything, not looking for congrats. He wasn’t even a stretch to get in according to our schools naviance. He also had a 4.6 gpa and top 2% of his class, which matters more than score at uva.

Wrong. my DS is sitting at UVA right now and he had (and submitted)a 1380. He currently has all As.
