Replying to your own thread?! We can tell because "exit oops" and "semi target" are part of the same pre-business lingo.
Emory makes the too 25 for best wall street placement seen here...

Definitely not the same person. But whatever makes you feel better.
The truth is that Emory simply is not that elite. It’s a good school but it tends to get way overhyped on here for some reason.
If Emory isn't elite then Vanderbilt, Cornell, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon and a host of other schools not ranked in the top 10 aren't either. Which is fine but just keeping you honest.

If this makes you feel better. Makes sure you tell USnews and WSJ about your opinion before next ranking season.
I don't know how to break this to you, but Cornell, Dartmouth and Vanderbilt are all ranked above Emory.
Emory is more a peer of schools like Tufts and NYU.
If this makes you feel better sure. The people that matter say otherwise. Emory has been a top 25 school for 30 years now. Your opinion does not matter.
Emory has cheated on its admission data for decades![]()

I'm not seeing too much "hate" so much as just calling it what it is. No one's saying Emory is a terrible school. It's a great school, just definitely not underrated and maybe a little overrated. Which is fine.
You need a hobby. Most of the negative comments are from you and one other person. And you can't answer simple questions, Why is Emory's ranking consistently 20 across multiple rankings? Why are its sat scores higher than Umich and Georgetown if those schools are better? Why do Emory grads make more than Vandy grads and almost as much as Cornell grads if these schools are so much better? Where's the data on placement that says Emory has a worse placement at top companies? Stop trolling the forum and answer the questions and bring facts not feelings.
I feel genuinely a little sad for you if you really think there’s only one or two people on this thread who think Emory’s a little overrated. Emory almost never comes up in any conversation IRL when talking about prestigious or elite schools, and the vast majority of people wouldn’t place it above Georgetown, let alone a place like Cornell.

DP but Emory is not super well-regarded in either finance or consulting, this in spite of the fact that it had a dedicated undergrad business program. Smart kids out of Emory will still do well for themselves, but they’ll have to work harder than kids from literally any of the other schools you listed above.
