Now that would make sense.

Amazon Prime was a hit with ours a few years back (on top of the bonus).

Know your employee. I don't want chocolate, and I absolutely don't want a huge box!

It probably isn’t possible so close to Christmas (maybe for her birthday) but my best gift ever is a professional photograph of all my current and past charges together (except one) from three families. I actually cried when I got it and loved that my charges all got together even as one family had to drive over two hours to get back.

Best gift ever!

Wow! That is an AMAZING and thoughtful gift!!

+2. Quite a testament to the nanny and some pretty wonderful parents/employers.

+3. The three families of children you nannies in one profession photograph is an amazing gift.

I had former employers give me a personalized "best nanny ever" coffee mug to keep at their house along with a variety of high end coffee. It made mornings at work a little extra fun to choose and make some nice coffee for myself. They also gave me UGG slippers to use as "house shoes" at work. Loved those too!

This was about 15 years ago, but a family gave me a simple Tiffany necklace. I wasn’t a big jewelry wearer, but I still smile when I see it in my jewelry box and wear it fairly regularly now. I still keep in touch with the family and follow the boy’s high school sports. They also gave me a Burberry quilted jacket when I left them, and it’s one of my favorite items to break out now and then.

I think white VANS would be a great gift due to the popularity this year of Squid Games.

+1. Sounds like OP has a beloved nanny too.

My nanny also loves to give and get personal gifts. I spend more time on her gifts than I do on most of my family. She actually told me that gifts are her “love language”. She would be sorely disappointed if I only gave her cash for Christmas.

You need to learn to read, PP.

I can read. No one wants a bunch of “stuff”. Let the Nannie make a list or give cash.

NP here. I love stuff. Does no one in your life give you a non-monetary gift, PP?

Yes, but they don’t have to ask strangers what to buy me.

How do you know they don’t?

+1. I ask salespeople all the time. And got great suggestions a couple months ago about a gift for my parent’s 50th anniversary
