But my go to is oatmeal.

+ A baked potato
+ Sardines or tuna
+ Pasta with spaghetti sauce or pasta with a quick alfredo sauce (mix cream, a pat of butter and parmesan cheese)
+ cereal
+ scrambled eggs with chopped veggies
+ nuts and dried cranberries (I always have these. If I also have blueberries, I add that in.)

Cucumber cheese sandwich

I try to always have some sort of bread in the freezer; paratha, pita or focaccia. Or rice and pasta.
It never really feels like a desperation meal - they are my favorite things to eat and they are so easy to jazz up.

If there is no food in the house, then I'd go to a fast-casual place where I can find something relatively healthy.
