I think if they try to move on him, they just create a martyr who tens of millions of Americans will idolize.

J6 Committee is going nowhere.
This indictment shows the opposite. Maybe that's why some on this thread are so riled up?

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:So what does an indictment mean? He goes to jail? He pays a fine? He gets a news headline?
He will go to trial or plead guilty. Contempt of Congress is misdemeanor and can be punished with up to 1 year in prison and $1,000 fine. Hopefully DOJ pushes for a speedy trial. I am sure if republicans win the house next year, they will try to use that to muck this up.[/quote
He has 2 misdemeanor charges for failing to appear and failing to turn over Docs. Criminal takes longer than civil contempt. But, he can’t say to orrow— fine, I’ll show up, and have it do away.

It's easy to spout nonsense and conspiracy theories on your entertainment show; not so easy to do that under oath.
And that is why none of the #stopthesteal lawsuits produced any evidence that proved the election was stolen.
Because he doesn't have to.

Inciting violence isn’t protected.
Bannon did not incite violence. You need receipts to prove your statement. Just because you write that statement does not make that true.
