MIT lol.

Seriously, more than half of students are in sports or Greek. Perhaps you need to think beyond stereotypes.

These schools don’t have frats

When we toured Macalester there were no signs of any Greek life. It was a very cozy, international feeling campus.

I went to WPI in the mid80s and hated the Greek culture so much I transferred out.

I have a DS that just graduated.

He had a great experience and we all enjoyed visiting Granville.

But I would say no - Denison has a very heavy Athlete presence as well as Frat’s.

They are working on it but I think they have a ways to go.

So you’re agreeing?

Carnegie Mellon
Pitt
Oberlin
Wooster
Case Western
Tufts
Brandeis
Vassar
Wesleyan
Swarthmore
JHU
Franklin and Marshall
Villanova

He wants to stay on the east coast or relatively close, so no west coast schools on this list

Good list!

+1. I would also consider Clark.

Pretty much every school beyond T10. This is the sad reality of American colleges (and to a large degree American society) where non-academic becomes the most important thing in an academic setting.

I’d be cautious about most colleges in rural areas and colleges with <5,000 students
