This is demonstrably false.Her fan base is not the kind of demographic that WOULD NOT care about her sexuality. To the contrary, much of her fame—pre-country music and post country music —, is built around this image of a frail, hyper emotional, delicate, fragile , skinny, blonde ingenue who is perpetually wronged through no fault of her own by men—usually former paramours—and women , depicted as most likely jealous of her.


+1. Taylor’s public persona is hyper straight. If she is gay (I doubt it), her coming out would be celebrated by the media for about a week but her fan base would abandon her instantly.

Let me put it this way - if Taylor was pictured making out with a man at a concert, the same man she was living with for years, the man she was seen with night-and-day nonstop, the man she was rumored to write songs about, while writing Karlie <3 Taylor in the sand on their Instagrams during solo road trips together, and the same man she was strutting down a runway with while holding hands in lingerie...would that even be a question?

Her political views became very clear in Lover which was the first album after she left her previous record label. She probably had a clause in her contract with them that she had to keep her mouth shut. As far as her dating life goes, she's been with Joe for like 5 years now. She's been really private about the relationship, for all we know she is married or engaged.

I don't know why people spew so much hate at her, she dated like a normal woman in her 20s and wrote songs about her relationships. In some songs she blamed the guys but in other songs she took the blame.

I mean - the focus on Taylor dating but not being 'married' and pregnant was a DCUM thing and I totally agree is distasteful in the sense that women can be a lot more than barefoot and pregnant at 32 these days.
