Man here. You need:
- At least one full-body photo
- Mention you have kids, no photos of them. Otherwise men will think it's weird you're that age and didn't have any (i.e. what's wrong with you)
- Don't write too long of a profile, but not too short either
- Don't write too many "demands" in your profile -- comes off as high maintenance.

Feel free to post the text (modifed as you like) and we can give you advice.

As I posted above, your “competition” almost certainly has better looking/more purposeful photos. Buy new outfits, do your hair and makeup, and take pics for this express purpose.


You might be surprised how many women’s profiles have bad, low-effort photos.

No. You don't put pictures of or mention your kids in your profile to many weirdos who target that in profiles. You may be less of a target as a man, but for women iwith kids it's not a good idea. MEntion it on the first date.

I’m on Tinder, guy, divorced, 50s, Bethesda. Aged is no big deal, but being in good shape is ( I work very hard at it). Good shape, firm, women don’t work on muscle enough, can be thinner, but have flab. Not good shape compared to others, rather your best potential. You will get the attention.

Maybe a few glasses of wine and a once around with a twenty something not bad idea. Good luck.
