Yes. And heavenly horses are mentioned so to me that means other animals too.

I've had this book on my shelf forever, but have been afraid to read it. Should I? I don't mind crying but I don't want to be frightened or freaked out.

Raised Catholic, now an Episcopalian. Possibly the only reason I believe that there might be a heaven is because I could see my dogs again.

Being with Christ and worshipping him? Ugh sounds like heaven is a long weekend with a cult. If that’s what it is I don’t want to go. Also seriously how much praise and worship does God need anyhow?

Pretty much this.

Anglican. Don't believe our existing pets will go to heaven, but do believe our existing earth will be renewed to be our perfect home and on that perfect home there will be plenty of animals. I believe "the lion will lie down with the lamb" and all the rest from Isaiah could easily end up being literal.
