So ... is anybody else wondering if this is problematic? Exploitive?

Everyone finds the show heartwarming. And it is. But that is how people felt in the beginning of The Biggest Loser, too. And my goodness, that sure has aged poorly.

Adan being publicly pressured by Dani to "do the deed" comes to mind as problematic. Not ok at all.

Ok sometimes my kid says funny things but she thinks it’s mean of me to laugh at them when she isn’t meaning to be funny.

The therapist, Jennifer, said the song was actually impromptu. Peri started it and the other joined in.

But was a little bothered that they even managed to make this show appear scripted at the end: The “surprise” engagement that brought all the other cast members together. Oh look a rainbow and all sang Somewhere Over a Rainbow to end the series with a pretty bow. Imo

What a delight it was to watch this season. This is definitely one of the best - if not the best!- reality shows out there right now. So funny and heartwarming.

DP I was bothered during the meeting between Logan and Hailey's parents. It was like Logan's sister and the mother were laughing at him. It was just a bit much.
