Just look at the Sinclair media stepford wife news presenter look-- super colorful, super tight, lots of makeup, bleach blond hair.

That's the current conservative look.

Those are very dated conservative looks.

Current conservative looks read insecure and vapid.

Real conservatives favor solid colors. Sheath dresses and pumps.

Sheath dress and pump is basically nonpartisan generic office wear.

This school also has plenty of the athleisure crowd but they don't seem very political.

Where do you live? Neither side dresses like you describe where I live (close-in DC metro area).

Yeah nobody dresses like either group described here. Sounds like some crappy parody skit from 15 years ago--shaved head and pink mohawk for liberals and tight minidresses and blonde hair?

They like to look manicured, very unnatural to me.

The type of guy I am attracted to would want a woman who is up for hiking to see the fall foliage, not lunching at the club after getting her nails done.

You can own both pearls and hiking boots, ya know?

Conservative Karen:

This is not a conservative look. It’s a very middle class / Marshall’s look. More about less money than more conservative. Maybe if it was navy and white.

Um, middle class/Marshall’s/Middle America = conservative. Long, unkempt hair is also part of it. Pentecostal chic.

Is that Ricki Lake?

I’m an avid hiker and marathon runner but also like to get my nails done (especially before a major race or destination hike) and wear REI or Lululemon products while doing so. I wear heels and dress up if I go out to a nice restaurant or theater. I also dress down and wear Birkenstock or Doc Martens, t-shirt, and jeans if walking around town. I’m not fat in the least, nor do I wear cheap clothing. I’m conservative but look like any other liberal UMC, Ivy educated Gen-X woman.
