What dating app was it? The show where somebody lives, if he’s targeting the east coast… that is bizarre on many levels ( I don’t like to go 5-10 miles).

Just search him online, and court records for the state he is from…. You can find out so much.

He said he was going to be on the east coast anyway after I made the post. He first talked about just coming out here to see me. He said the layover was due to having a relative here but then he changed plans after I declined and went back home. He was also going to be here over night not in the daytime.

Red flags all over the place. This guy sounds like a mess. Don’t settle for less than a man who wants to take you out on a proper date without expectations of a hook up (unless that’s what you want). If he was being honest about this he would have told you, initially, that he was already traveling and wanted to go on a date while he was in town. And he was “only going to be there overnight”?? Gross. OP, set your standards higher.

Many years ago, my mom met some guy while playing Second Life. He flew across the country to meet her and turned out to be a total creep.

Sounds like he was matching with people in another state trying to line up some strange while travelling....because he's married.

OP you did the right thing. Sounds married. If not, def stech. What was the point? Did you want a LDR? It all sounds like a waste of time TBH.
