It is well known that she is a narc, not a nice person at all.
yeah, she's never pretended to be "nice". I respect that, far more honest then syrupy Jen Garner who makes me wanna puke.
DP, but it’s possible to be a decent person, i.e., someone who wouldn’t have an affair with a married man while she was still in a relationship with a different man herself, and to be honest, and not “syrupy.” These things are not mutually exclusive.
Can someone translate this gobbledy-gook for me? This DP is clearly from a different planet.
Nah, I just didn’t write clearly. It happens, and usually most people don’t equate the occasional run-on sentence with being from a different planet.![]()
Translation: PP respects Julia Roberts because she doesn’t pretend to be “nice.” I pointed out that her “honesty” has nothing to do with her actual decency as a person. It’s fairly well acknowledged that her husband was still married to his first wife when she started dating him, which is lousy, as was her behavior around the affair.
I don’t know why Jennifer Garner got dragged into this. Celebrities present themselves in different ways.
Thanks now I'm twice as bored as I was. I said up thread I didn't REALLY need a translation. I was pointing at the crazy. IE. YOU.

Came across this on DM while eating lunch.
As expected, Julia Roberts is still gorgeous at age 53.
But, it struck me how bad her color looks with her skin color and makeup.
Wouldn't she look better with a warmer hair color--perhaps a red or brunette color along the spectrum between Diane Lane and Julianne Moore, both of whom look amazing BTW.
Thoughts?

I think its important to remember that, an actual casualty.

DP has a single definition for a “decent person.” It does not include Julia Roberts because she believes JR broke up a marriage 20 years ago. (DP has no idea what caused the marriage to break up, but assumes that it was JR and is now boycotting JR’s movies.) She does not consume media involving or otherwise intentionally transact with people who she believes may have been involved in adultery at some point in there lives. DP is presumable a decent person by this narrow definition. DP has likely never voted in a presidential election, except for Obama, who is a decent person.
