When the vaccine becomes available for ES students later this fall, does this type of nonsense end?
The nonsense ends when the positives stop. So, what are you doing to help stop the positives. You can still get and spread covid even vaccinated. So, without behavior, this is going to last a long time.
They’re doing nothing to help stop the spread. These are the idiots going on vacations and then demanding schools stay open.
Spread is actually pretty low here, but ok.

Positives will never stop. But you keep on waiting…

Yes, we knew that MCPS would be incompetent and handle this poorly. That much should have been obvious from the beginning.

I'm the PP you replied to, and I don't see the nonsense. I assume there were 2nd and 5th grade siblings that reported being COVID positive. Our 5th grade is tiny and the two 5th grade classes spend half the day together. So maybe 65 kids were quarantined.
It's not nonsense, but it ends not just later in the fall, but when cases counts drop farther, probably after a substantial number of kids are vaccinated. Maybe spring or next school year. Or maybe it takes longer to end this sort of quarantine as official policy, but it becomes much less common as kids are vaccinated Etc.
Parents NEED to keep their sick kids home. If there is any concern, parents need to get their kids tested. Blame it on the parents with the positive kids and stop complain as you knew this would happen.

What are you doing to change your behavior? You used electricity and WiFi to make this post. How dare you put the power plant and telecom workers at risk with your behavior? Change your behavior!!!
