My husband is 6’6”. It’s hard to buy clothes. Suits cost a fortune and he wears one every day (well, pre work from home). He’s super uncomfortable on flights because his legs don’t fit and so we rarely fly anywhere. If we do fly somewhere we end up having to get a bigger/more expensive rental car so he fits in it. When we first got married, he didn’t have a car and I did, but he couldn’t drive my car (a small 2 door coupe) because there was no way in which to position the seat and still see put the front window to drive. When we replaced it, cars that comfortably fit him were of course more expensive. Like another PP when we looked for a house in this area so many were non-starters because of square footage in a low ceiling basement, tucked under eaves in a renovated attic, etc.

Yes I’m pretty sure it is because the heart has to work harder to pump blood all over the body when you’re taller. My husband and I are both very tall so we have paid attention to this.

I think there is also research showing that tall people are viewed as more knowledgeable/capable and get paid more. So I guess it’s an ok trade off LOL.

I was just thinking about James Comey. I saw him in person one time, he is 6'8. There was a story that upon meeting Trump, he was trying to blend into the drapes and hunch so that Trump would not zero in on him. He knew the psychology and that his height would set him off.

My husband is a similar height and feels the same way - not that someone would want to fight (although I see that, too - but he's an incredibly nice guy) but that he may intimidate people, so he tries to hunch.

My DS was 6’5” and filled out by about 14. Some kids picked fights and the weirdest thing was seeing grown men, including male teachers (especially shortish like 5’7”), acting kinda alpha with him.

Tall/heavy men are hard to care for when they are elderly, when they need to be supported, physically.

Tall people (any gender) are “randomly” held to higher standards. Specially as kids.

6'4 big peepee here again. One legit annoyance that I discovered the hard way....dancing at weddings. In my sisters wedding album, I'm literally a head taller than anyone else in the pictures. Once i saw that, I was always self conscious.

I’m an inch shorter but often have embarrassing moments going through airport scanners. I get stopped, so I look at the picture and see a yellow rectangle on my groin. Then I have to get felt up by some hairy dude. Sucks.

6'4 here. Biggest disadvantage for me is never being able to blend in or just fly under the radar. I feel like I'm constantly under scrutiny.
