You could try girlfriends guide to divorce- it’s easy to have on and fly through but it’s not relatable (at least not to me though I wouldn’t mind their wardrobe or houses…)


This is a good suggestion. Also Working Moms, though they are not quite middle-aged yet. But I find the characters more relatable as they aren't uber-rich.

And Working Moms is far funnier - though not so much the last season. The first one or two seasons are brilliant.

I loved it but I'm a Julie Delpy & French drama fan. That scene with her meeting herself was fantastic.

It's refreshing to watch a show with women my age who look achievably good. The storylines are very SoCal - a world away from mine and slightly absurd.
