I don’t think so. I think it’s more likely she’s got a bit of HPD (histrionic personality disorder) combined with
a pretty mild case of NPD (narcissistic personality disorder). I only say mild in that she’s been able to keep a pretty
long term, close knit group friends together. It’s hard to do that if you have a strong case of NPD.

I do think her private thoughts, though, are consumed with thoughts about status, power, materialism, money,
and influence. And jealous thoughts about others and her perceptions of their status, power, material wealth, etc.

Jen can speak very well when she IS WELL.

Not sure what people are referring to by college. Here college is more focused on trades and “uni light” diplomas. I know a few people who lecture at them on the side but a master’s degree is required for the non-trade teaching so Jen would not be permitted unless she upgraded her education. But I have no doubt that when healthy, she could do it!

When I listen to her speak (with regards to both subject matter and her immature use of language), what I think is that there’s someone who should have amassed a lot of wisdom based on her age and experiences, and yet seems very unwise. I haven’t been in the Beth Moore lane for quite some time now but hearing her while promoting her book makes me realize she has a lot of wisdom. Bob Goff also seems very wise to me. Why doesn’t Jen seem to want to embrace her brain? I keep seeing people post here about her lecturing college classes and that is not the arena I see her in. Most people who can command the written language can also verbally express it well.

If you listen to the leader cast episode on which she is a guest, she claims embarrassment for things that she has previously written in her books. She has the ability to Reflects and change her ways, sort of adapt her thinking. How long will it take her to become embarrassed by her current state? That’s the question. Interesting track she is taking.

I don't hate Jen but I do hate her predatory, post capitalist business model that preys on vulnerable women. It's gross and soulless and hurtful pattern of behaviors that really needs to be called out.

The whole self-help Influencer "industry" needs to be called out.

I would be entirely happy if Jen took a long social media sabbatical and came back as a college instructor on how to make a living as a writer or free lance writer or something. I would even celebrate that and encouraged her!

Everyone can see that she’s having a mental breakdown so why the hate? Jen is not well. Would you mock a cancer patient? Mental health care IS healthcare.

Agreed, it seems like the last time she was single and dating she was a teenager and now that she is single and dating again she is reverting to a trying-so-hard-to-be-one-of-those-cool-girls place - its embarrassing and cringey in your late 40s.

Agreed. She was not. It’s a free fall. It makes me wonder, how would I fall apart if I got divorced? I almost did, for cheating no less. But, I feel like my identity is not wrapped up in being a wife. I think despite her protestations, this was her identity. She is still in free fall and has not hit the ground yet.

Well, I nearly fell apart after my divorce. “Wife” would have never made it to any social media descriptors of me. It was about loosing a relationship I relied on and all the changes that rippled from that. It didn’t sound she was terribly invested in Brandon right before the divorce. Not defending her, just saying you can’t compare your imaginary reaction to Jen’s real one.

I admit that the eight year old video above depresses me. This was the Jen I first was introduced to and fell in love with. This person is no more or never really existed in the first place.

Part of being truly cool, whatever that means, is not trying so hard. When you try so hard to be cool or cute or precious it just comes across as so fake and nauseating!!! Self edit, Jen!! Reign it in!!!
