I mean a ceasefire in exchange for hostages was pretty much on table from day 1 and that’s what the hostages’ families wanted but Netanyahu wanted another war because the only way he stays in power is by prolonging war, and a good chunk of his coalition wants to destroy/ethnically cleanse Gaza.
That was a deliberate choice

When you argue that terrorism is a reasonable activity, you necessarily argue that violence is the way to resolve conflict. That being so, the violent response to terrorism is equally valid, and so then are the consequences for the terrorists and the civilians they hide behind. You can't have it both ways, with terror being fine on one side, but a forceful response being indefensible.
The immorality of your argument aside, it's also a ringing endorsement of futility. The terrorists keep losing and civilians keep suffering, day after day, year after year, decade after decade, and there's no reason to think that will ever change. According to you, the correct response to this history is to double down and keep it up until more people die. That's a strange vision for a better world.

They think what all of the people who didn't even wait a day to insist on a ceasefire think - that Israel should have responded by mass suiciding everyone who wasn't murdered by Hamas, and simply giving Israel over to Palestinians. Or I guess whoever else wants to be there, so long as they aren't Jews. I don't think the CEASEFIRE NOW people really gave that part much thought.

I think they've done pretty well in developing Gaza given the hand they were dealt. Gaza is very urbanized despite lacking access to trade or resources.
They could use the equipment they used for tunnels, Einstein! They sure got plenty of infrastructure development assistance over the years, as evidenced by their underground construction projects, Einstein.
