I assumed he was insinuating that he had bought it for her. Especially because her reply was, “Ask my boyfriend.”

At least Tina returns the love. Jen isn’t even married and indulges in over the top odds like her career depends on it. In print, television, podcasts, and social media, Jen drools over Tyler. Tyler drools over Shannon

I feel, and this may be a little old-fashioned, that if the mother of your children, whom you left, and who is still alive and still single (for the most part), you should refrain from over the top odes to your current wife. It's fine to say you love her, think she is pretty, etc. But Brando is just driving the stakes into Jen with every IG Tina post.
For me, this shows more than anything else this is pretty much a user relationship, especially on Sass’s part. He’s getting more publicity and exposure and events than he could without Jen (granted, it’s zz list celebrity exposure but a whole new audience he wouldn’t have been able to tap into) without any emotional or other investment. All he has to do is have some text and phone conversations and occasionally show up to feed Jen’s ego and luuvv fantasy and that’s it. For Jen, she may really believe they’re the real deal, but even with her, she needed a boyfriend to prove that she was still desirable and not the scorned bitter woman, and Sass was a bonus because, you know, he’s a black social justice warrior which made her squeal in delight. Sass, being an opportunist, picked up on that neediness and some of that day thinking about it was probably how he could use it to his advantage, so, yeah, I can be your boyfriend. Even with all the red flags, Jen will keep it up because another failed relationship is more than her ego and fake person she’s built up in her mind could take
You know who I really feel bad for? Shannon, she’s given her best reproductive years to being Tyler’s emotional spouse while he wax’s on about her great devotion (ie codependency) and how anyone else would have bailed
Also, in his ode to Shannon, look how many times he describes himself as difficult, high maintenance, getting in the way of her own attention and credit
