In looking at the scores, they finished 2-0-2. Are you seeing something different?

I think it is not a stretch to think that M&D with their new additions and being in the second bracket was thinking they were going to be 4-0 this weekend and ties to LI Liberty and CClax are not something to celebrate.

Much like Heros was probably hoping their new additions would cement them as the top team in the country, but instead they lost/tied more games this weekend than basically the entire summer last year.

Hero’s close games with top teams is understandable. The teams at the top are going to trade wins, and some weekends will be better than others. M&D playing tight games with second or third tier teams in a lower bracket is more concerning. Why were they down in a lower bracket in the first place?

These are all great questions, I think you deserve an answer. I’m doing some investigating, I’m gonna put my best man on the case.

Great, thank you!!!!

I noticed that was a weird bracket. No more than two wins by any one team. And the worst team still had one win. Now that is bracket parity.

It is really strange other teams are getting better. I just don't understand, how can it be.

I know it's hard when top teams don't win and we like only talking about them. The game is changing, and the competition is catching up. There’s only one ball, and now everyone can catch and throw. You can’t just power through a defense to score anymore—other teams are just as big, strong, and skilled. It’s a different game, and it’s all about who can adapt and compete at the next level.

Thanks for that hard hitting analysis and news break. Maybe KH should have hired you to run their campaign……

NOVA and the DC area has lots of talent and it is good to see the improvement each year with this class of girls. They all seem to get along and cheer for each other even when they are on different teams now. Maybe a few of the parents should relax and just be thankful that their daughter is getting better and can thrive wherever they may be playing.

When you look across all three Capital Blue Teams this fall it is clear they are in a bit of decline relative to years past - specifically talking about teams in the the 2018-2021 age range
