Well, Prince Philip is a royal who served overseas in a warfront. Prince Andrew was a helicopter pilot during the Falklands War and while Prince Charles did not serve overseas, he did command a Navy destroyer and flew both helicopters and jets during his military service.

He can defiantly claim his ties to the marines, but he is like any other veteran now. Princess Anne is the Captain General of the Royal Marines, and another royal will take over from her when she relinquishes the title.

He gave up so much for so little was often said about his Great Uncle David. May Harry's defiance carry him through that curse.

The first PP pretty much nailed it. He was a whiny thing (why can't my kids have my naaaaaaame?) and always seemed to be focused on what he didn't have. Which was very little.

I’ve never seen that show so I don’t know what it’s about. But I asked what I was missing, and you didn’t offer anything. What makes him so admirable? The royals honestly seem to me like just another reality TV show, albeit an expensive one. If he’s some great guy, I’d love to hear it. But he seems liked an aged jock with a slight case of toxic masculinity, but who knows how to keep his mouth shut when advantageous. I sort of like Charles better because he seems like such a sad sack that I admire him pushing on, at least.
