While we would obviously rather be on campus, we are really impressed with Burgundy's remote learning thus far this fall.

Exactly this. It’s so sad to see this happening to the kids, but it has made me feel very thankful we didn’t chose BFCDS.


There are so many great things about Burgundy, but the past 6 months have been awful.

Prediction: sometime between now and then there will some increase in infection rate. Maybe in Alexandria, DC, PG, Virginia overall, somewhere and then October in-person will be cancelled.


Yes and then Burgundy will go out of business after they charge families
35K per kid for subpar remote
Learning all year and no one comes back next year.

Tents are like $150 per kid max, heaters can be purchased for $150-200 each. Time to get shopping now if they haven't already.

Have you seen any outdoor learning areas? I was on campus and it is looking the same as always.

I’ve seen some hand washing stations. I think they can only be used until the first freeze though. Not sure what outdoor learning areas pp is referring to. And I don’t know that the campus being large helps if the space isn’t setup for learning, at least for older grades. Like with tents and outdoor heaters and stuff.

They will probably open though. I don’t thinK it’s accurate to say they spent the summer creating outdoor learning areas.
