My post is sincere. I think the modern GOP is basically evil so I am having a hard time understanding how someone can still be a Republican if they are a decent person.
Run!!!
Remember what mamma always said: Only hang out, date, marry, work with, socialize with, school with people exactly like you! You are the chosen people, everyone else is not.
No need to tolerate people who openly accept massive lies and corruption. People who foster fear and hate. Call them out. Shun them. Don’t let them ever think it’s acceptable.
I am pretty sure that the kind people who OP referred to are not associating with people who have anger management issues. You need to seek professional help.
I highly doubt the Trump supporters would seek help for their anger management issues. They love to hate.
Again, the irony. It's clear you either haven't been reading this thread or have no idea what irony means.![]()
Trump supporters are fueled by hate. Collectively, they hate:
Black people
Immigrants - legal or not
Hispanics
Muslims
LGBTQ
Women
Basically, anyone who isn’t their 0.1% white male “Christian” overlords.
Please illustrate how Trump supporters hate any of the above groups. Give pertinent examples and links. Thanks!
Iff PP does, will you do the same in re: incessant yammering about that liberals all want to open our borders, confiscate everyone's firearms, and impose totalitarian communism on the United States by way of expanding Medicare?
Considering I haven't posted anything about those topics, no, I won't. Still waiting to hear how Trump supporters hate blacks, legal and illegal immigrants, Hispanics, Muslims, LGBTQ, and women.
When a political party and its members consistently support laws and policies that seem clearly targeted at the civil rights and equal opportunities of those groups, it's hard to come come up with a rational explanation that doesn't involve bigotry and hate.

NO!!!
The GOP base, especially in rural areas, often gets its news ONLY from the rightwing press.
The rightwing media is NOT telling conservatives what's going on.
The GOP base is brainwashed because the rightwing press lies to them.
Ignorance (by choice) is no excuse.
It’s really hard to imagine how deep the lie bubble is unless you’ve lived in a red area.
Here in the DC area you get exposed to all sorts of news. It’s very hard to completely avoid truthful media. Here, if you’re a Republican you’re a gullible fool.
But in red areas, many good people believe what Fox says. It’s very hard to relate unless you have lived there or have family who are brainwashed by Fox.
It's amazing how gullible you are. You live in the ultimate bubble but, like the fish unaware what water is, you don't even notice.
97% people in DC voted Dem, everyone listens to the same news and holds the same political views.
In most of the country there's much more diversity and exposure to different views and news.
+1
Exactly. DC is the quintessential liberal bubble. It makes me laugh when people like the PP talk about others being brainwashed. Liberals in DC, NYC, etc. are their own special kind of cult.
