Formula in Canada.
Even if they drive straight there (unlikely) that baby'd be screaming for food in a matter of hours. Practically, with stops and starts, it could take them days to get there. No mother would leave her breastfed-only infant without knowing she would have access to food. Agree with PPs she'd have more resources to extract Hannah once she's in Canada and can plan properly.

I hope Emily and the baby escape to Canada. Emily will probably take on a major activist role in Canada if she makes it and can keep the PTSD at bay.
I get not wanting to leave Hannah behind, but after so many people risked their lives and safety (the Marthas) so that she could escape with Holly? It seems so ungrateful. And she'll end up leaving both her daughters, instead of one.
At this point I'm rooting for Rita and Nick to escape and live happily ever after.
All of those people risked their lives for NICHOLE. Not June. I have a feeling June leaving was never part of the plan.
