Except he's already broken multiple laws and Congress has done nothing about it. There's no one holding him accountable, Congress is expressly ignoring their Constitutionally bound duty.
So you're wrong - we are already slipping into something more autocratic/junta-controlled when compared to Obama's last day in office. The government is already breaking down.

We know that Trump is in violation of the Emoluments Clause and breached the terms of the lease for his D.C. hotel. The President isn't subject to many ethics and conflict-of-interest regs. Not sure if any laws were broken yet by Trump.
