BOOM!
Does the MPD investigate this, or is it a school police function?
The Cathedral has its' own police force, but that wouldn't preclude the parents of the injured boy pressing charges. Don't know anything about whether that is happening.
In other topics, I hear the Beauvoir applicants are swamping the pool for 4th grade this year. Going to be extra tough for outside applicants.

Money and what title your dad has matters very little. Personality, athletic and other prowess, and a sense of humor is what seems to factor in to a boy's fitting in with everyone else.
True dat.
Observations of friends there in the '80s, and my son there now, totally jibe with PP's description. If an STA kid is at home in his own skin, and if he doesn't take himself too seriously, he will be fine (just as he would be anywhere, actually!).
After 6 weeks in the place, I think this is spot-on. Relieved to find out that it's not who your daddy is, what he does for a living, or how thin and blonde his trophy wife (or girlfriend) is that determines the boys' social circles.
