It's there because Trump does not want to display this public defeat. His name is gone, and that is a defeat. I did read that he is hoping to put it back up as he has appealed to the Circuit Court.

So the tarp will be up until SCOTUS rules on this. Great.

The beautiful thing about the plastic covering is that it means Trump knows how much he's hated. He knows. If he really though the people loved him, he know there would be an uproar about the removal.
