We are planning to finish Geometry in summer, so DC would take Algebra 2 in 7th.

class selections start for many MS in January so wondering, has Reid said if rolling out algebra to ALL schools outside of pilot? How many more 6th graders to be offered algebra? And for rising 7th grade-is plan still for even more than had happen this year to be put into Alg in 7th and have to ask to opt-out?

No one dropped from Algebra 1 class so far.

DS reported that 2 kids dropped between the start of school and when algebra started (opted out of the pilot entirely). None have dropped since that he's aware of. Center school, in person teacher, ~50 kids taking it.

Criteria was different at our school. This is unacceptable
