She said she'll probably do it after Trump shows up for the first one. I think this is good strategy. If they had held a Fox debate as the first one, he could have just done the one in conditions favorable to him, and bailed.
To be honest though, the debate is not going to be revelatory. Trump is going to Trump and make up horrible lies that will not be fact checked. Harris will answer questions in a more coherent manner, but like all politicians, will not give a straight answer. Both sides will claim victory. I don't really know why anyone thinks this is going to be a big deal.
I'd only agree to debates with live fact checking and a dunk tank that is triggered everytime they lie.

Why give that demented orange more air time? It's not like he will answer a singlle question or complete a thought. He'll just go off on some imagined grievances. It's just too hard to watch.

She still might. People called her a coward for refusing to agree to the Fox News debate. What happened? Trump dropped his bogus excuses about a conflict due to his lawsuit (which he had filed before agreeing to debate Biden) and re-agreed to the ABC debate. She's negotiating from a position of strength here. Something the guy who makes the best deals should know something about.

She has been busy.
Republicans don’t understand this concept of “busy.” They’re used to DonOLD having “executive time,” i.e. sundowning, and then a half an hour of fairly alert time before he gets ornery again. He has to be kept quiet to keep him calm.
