Supposedly being installed now....no idea when they'd be finished or how MCPS will operationalize it once they're all installled.
Anonymous wrote:I teach in a MS often discussed on DCUM. The children have made the bathrooms unusable. On an average day, I write about 2-3 passes per class period so roughly 10-15 a day. It is likely that 8-13 of those students will return to tell me that most or all of the toilets are purposely clogged with paper. Some are upset, but others see it as an opportunity to wander to the other side of the building or another floor.

Nope. Kids will have to eat in the hallways or in the bathrooms, I guess.
Why can't they build up if they don't have space to build out a lounge or different eating areas so not to eat in a library or bathroom (ugh, gross).
You're assuming that the kids want a cafeteria that would accommodate 2000+ people. The way to manage this would be multiple lunch times, but schools don't do this because having a single lunch time allows for students to meet with teachers/staff and also for clubs to meet.
Well that has not worked out. Meet after school like was done before. One lunch is a security disaster.

Bathrooms ons are locked at our school.
Care to name the school? Have heard from students at a few that they say are locked. Yet at the end of summer BOE meeting, one of the "leaders" said "we are not locking bathrooms." Errr. FALSE.
