Connecticut? Not sure why they would play at Prep when they could play in the MIAA. Much better conference and they actually aren’t afraid to compete with the top teams.
lol...there's more to picking a school than lacrosse.
Lol. Must of been. If it was for lax they made a terrible decision.
"Terrible decision"? Really? People on here are so full of it. What a completely idiotic and untrue statement.
You do realize lots of boys around the country would love to come play lax at Prep, right? The school has a long history of successful lacrosse teams and most recently the 2023 team won the IAC Championship, ranked 4th in the country, #1 in the DMV by the Washington Post, and had 11 seniors commit to play in college. They received tons of social media hype from ECD, Madlax, and other media outlets that all these kids and coaches pay attention to and watch. Every year anywhere from 4-14 of their players commit to D1 and D3 colleges, often the most in the DMV. Their facilities are top notch and the best in the DMV. Their coach won coach of the year, is in the Georgetown University and US Lacrosse Hall of Fames, is a silver medalists for the US National team in the World Championship, played professionally for nine years, and many other accolades.
Choosing to play lacrosse for Prep is definitely NOT a terrible decision, which is why kids come in from all over the DMV, Connecticut, Canada, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, etc. just for a chance to attend Prep and play on the team. It's clearly painful for some to hear, but that is the truth.
